Image Generator

I decided to use Image Chief. It has 100's of templates to choose from. Browsing the catalog I found a nice neon sign under the animation templates. It was quite easy to add a phrase to the sign.

Web 2.0 Awards ( short list)

Under music, I added the Pandora Internet radio station to my favorites today. ( http://www.pandora.com/ ) It's great! It will ask you to select what kind of genre you want. Of course anybody who knows me will know it's country music. It then gave me a choice of different artists. So I chose Keith Urban. It then gave me his songs plus others that sound like him. I haven't heard a song that I didn't like yet. I'm going to choose the oldies genre next. It's great listening to terrific music while I'm reading or creating blogs.

Under videos, I've played with Dailymotion. It's a fun videowall tool. I totally enjoyed the Felix the cat videos. :0 http://www.dailymotion.com/group/FelixtheCat

RSS aggregator account

I set up an account with google reader. It was quite interesting. Also quite fun. I subscribed to Unshelved, the library comic strip, joke of the day, celebrities which gave me 10 RSS feeds and I also subscribed to fun - folder which gave me 9 RSS feeds. The fun folder has quote of the day, YouTube, videos, etc. Wow! This was really cool. :)

I took this picture at the Graham Library. We seem to get quite a few deer who come to visit us every year. They are quite a sight to see especially for the kids who come to the library that day. I have more photos on my flickr account just click on the photo or here's the address to my photos

Learning Roller Coaster

This is my very first blog. The reason I called it a roller coaster is because I know that I'll have some ups and down in learning these lessons. It's been a long time since I've had to learn on my own. So let the ride begin.
